Can we trust the no logging policy of VPN providers?

Rcently 7 VPN firms with no-logs policy exposed 1.2 TB of user data. So, can we trust the no logging policy of VPN providers?

The only way to ensure any given thing is to roll/implement it yourself.

You get what you pay for. Ask yourself: If they are not charging for the service, how are they paying their bills, i.e., what is their business model? A number of the paid VPN services arrange for regular audits to demonstrate that they are not logging. An aside - if you are concerned about logging, do not forget your DNS provider.

Stay safe out there..
