I for one will ONLY buy AMD because of how corrupt of a corporation is Intel. My computers do everything I want them to do and that's all I can ask. Just look up "intel taken to court by british government" or "intel pays companies off" makes me so sick then u got these intel fanbois that will stand by them through all this BS and defend them. Shows me what type of person they are. I can't believe that Intel is an American company sometimes. They operate like they r based outta communist vietnam or something. Oh that's another article about intel helping communist countries. I linked it at one point few weeks ago but don't have to prove anything. Did u know that the majority of the benchmarks use intel's compilier and intel's instructions? AMD just created some new instructions that aren't in use yet. How can a company compete with criminals that own the market and control x86 market? There is to be a win 7 scheduler patch soon and that will boost some performance for amd as there is 8 cores to spread the workloads around more thoroughly. There is so much more dirt on Inhell that I just might dig up and create a anti-intel post seein is how all the fan girls that support this monster can't refrain from bashing FX cpu's like they are complete garbage or something. They are GOOd chips and will soon be better. All these little rich boy crybabies supporting a monopoly, disgusting

I know I shouldn't even bother responding to you but I'm just curious how you can correlate Intel to communist Vietnam? Intel is ran by its shareholders and like you saidit hey only care about the firm's bottom line so... how is that like communism? There are no socialist or even for that matter communist aspects to their operations but then again you probably don't even know what communism is.

Ferrari ? or ford escort ? any questions? sure one is more efficient but who really cares about that when the race is on and the intel ferrari is about 20 laps ahead. Sure it used more fuel to go further but who cares? the race is over 20 mins before the lil AMD ford escort sputters across the finish line after the awards ceremony.

This is a TERRIBLE analogy, because the Intel chips are not only faster, but much more efficient, too.

No , my i7 is not efficient at all lol sucking a good 140+ watts, only efficient compared to bulldozer.

So lesson of the day kids, if you buy an AMD CPU, you have to push it to it's limits to match the performance of a stock intel chip biggrin.gif

Uhm, it's also more efficient than Thuban. And besides, I thought we were comparing, ya know, current CPUs here. Sandy Bridge IS more efficient than BD. Just like my Lynnfield is much more efficient than my Deneb. rolleyes.gif
