Well that looks promising! Thanks for your response. I'm really hoping I can get 5GHz out of my 4670K. It'd be my first 5GHz chip.

I'm mainly curious about whether or not I'm going to need a water cooler to run a high 4GHz (4.8+) or 5GHz overclock.

I've read that the voltage is read incorrectly on Haswell chips with current sofware monitors so I am just ignoring any voltage readings I see.

The Intel-hand-picked Haswells couldn't even get near touching that.

It took HARDOCP and their golden-chip 1.26v to get to 4.8Ghz...an unstable 4.8 at that.
