long time lurker and thinking about taking the plunge with i7-6700 ES QHQG.

i have an extra ASUS Z170-a laying around. from what i gather, if i dont want to overclock, i can just plug in and play? but not sure about the ASUS Z170-a board. Any advice on whether I would need a Russian or Korean bios?

Hello Guys

I have the QHQG and an Asus Maximus VIII Hero board with stock Bios because the modded one ****s with the audio chip. I recently have discovered that my graphics card ( Gigabyte gtx 1060 gaming rev 2.0) is running at PCIe 2.0 speeds at all times, even during the stress test. If I switch the PCIe speed setting from "Auto" to "PCIe 3.0" I get PCIe 3.0 speeds but it does not go back to PCIe 1.0 during Idle.

Does anyone hav similiar problems? Is there any way to fix this?
