I have a Zotac GF9300-I-E with an E5450 and 8GB of RAM.

I was able to find what would have been the right BIOS in @HelpDatBIOS post from a couple of years ago, but the link's dead.

Everything in my build works -- it's just that the fans run a bit fast in PWM mode, and I want to see if a modded BIOS can help with that.

Is there any chance we could make the link active again?

I used the original download link from zotac listed in the post for the A132_(MCP7A)_1003 which gave me a bios rom named N0324WZT.rom that I modded with the updated 45nm 775 & 771 cpu codes.(Contains microcode for all LGA 771 Xeon processors (except older Pentium 4 based 50xx models).) The other microcodes that weren't duplicated were left in there. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your help.

The bios wasn't compatible, so I figured I'd take a look at the PCB guide that came with the download.

Well, I've checked my PCB and found nothing of the sort, lol. I'm trying to figure which revision mine falls under, and I can't seem to find a revision 5. I'll update soon, thanks again!

EDIT: Actually, should I try using Awdflash instead?

Here's modded file for Asus P5QPL-AM to support 45nm xeons (no 65mn codes added). Tested only with x5450.
