So far on my Gigabyte Z390 Master I'm running 5.1Ghz All Core, 0 AVX Offset, 1.28v, Turbo LLC. Still more exploring to do.

My 8086k would reach 5.1Ghz All Core on the same board at 1.32v.
Can you tell the production date of your processor?

Thank!

Been tweaking my voltages down for gaming. Currently at 1.305v in bios @ 5.2ghz no HT. High llc. This puts vrvout around 1.230v for big loads (cinebench, blender, realbench) and about 1.25+ for general gaming.

1.30v kicked up errors in HWinfo during realbench session and I think GB Z390 only move in .005v increments.

That's a pretty good chip. Mine does 5.3 GHz at 1.31v so you aren't too far behind.

For 5.3ghz, I need 1.385v in bios which is 1.285v under load. I'm just waiting for a 360 AIO before I run that daily. I'm running a weak llc so I get a lot of vrdroop but it makes my chip more stable.

I just damaged my 9900k burnt the pins from tieing down to hard on the direct die kit , for sure I wont be doing that journey again. But my chip wasnt the greatest anyways it did 5.0 mhz 1.36vcore avx 0 4000mhz memory. Realbench temps 86 celcuis copper relid dual 360 rad setup. So back to the drawing board where should I buy my new 9900k or should it be a 9900kf. I want a 9900k R0 so where should I start hunting. Last try at this 9900k lottery as it been my 3rd try to get something a bit cooler.

How did you 'tie' the direct die kit down too hard? How did you burn the pins? How is that even possible?
The usual issue with too much socket pressure is the board won't POST.
