What concerns me is not the warranty, since I heard 9900ks has just 1 year warranty, it's really hard to CPUs to get faulty, I'm worried about specific things like the support from Intel drivers or maybe the incapacity of good OC or worse than boxed retail 9900ks in mitigations, things like that.

Hi,
1 year from when lol

Either way price would be the only issue I can see couple hundred no problem otherwise just buy a retail and have it all same question about chip lottery/.... but a real warranty instead.

Weird 9900k's aren't dropping much in price around 500.us still where as 10900k is 529,us lol

Because I can't find 9900ks nowhere near the price of this guy, at least here in Brazil, I suspect even in USA/eBay the 9900ks is hard to find, and I would have deal with insane amounts of taxes

To be honest I was willing to buy just to see if I can improve my RAM OC, I suspect my CPU IMC is garbage...

I went through two 8700k's and two 9900k's, the 8700ks IMC were way better.

But what about 9900KS?
I have one being delivered right now - still very curious if it's gonna be no-scam 9900KS, cause it costs a bit less than cheapest 9900K on the local market

I updated my bios for the Aorus master and they had an option to auto overclock called ‘cpu upgrade’ with the options gaming and advanced. I chose advanced and it bumped up my frequency to 5.001GHz...when I booted back into bios I saw 1.392V.

Lol I was getting that stable with 1.285V
