I'm getting into the high 90s max core temps after 6-7 minutes of Prime 95 small FFT (no AVX, and AVX offset 0 in bios). Snapshot of HWinfo during my Prime95 run below.

Bottom line, I'm pulling 190W package power and hitting high 90's temps. Does that seem bad for Grand Macho RT + grizzly kryonaut? Maybe I need to re-paste? That cooler is a pain to mount but I'd do it again if I thought it would help.
Try repasting with an "X" paste layout method (two diagonal lines to each corner). This may help a bit.

Did you do the repaste with the method I said just 2 posts ago?
With 1.335v bios setting, 5.1 ghz (ring x47) and LLC=Turbo (equal to level 6 on a Maximus XI), I don't exceed 92C in realbench after 30 minutes. That gives a VR Vout (equal to your real vcore) higher than yours. Noctua NH-D15 with 2 fans here.

i noticed the temps on each of his cores, apparently cores #2,3,4,5 are a notch higher than the rest, 97°C~99°C as opposed to 92°C~94°C.

in this case, cores #0,1,6,7 should be whats normal, so cores #2,3,4,5 are possibly leaky cores.

trolling an adult is very dangerous, don't try it at home nor at work. you don't want to play tag with a rabid man.

Yeah, I think I'm going to try a repaste tomorrow. I used the thin uniform layer method last time (the applicator on the grizzly kryonaut makes it easy). It's nearly impossible to sit the heatsink down in the right spot on the first try so I probably rubbed off some spots sliding it to line up the screw holes. Hopefully I've got enough left in the tube (this will be the third shot...the first was a disaster).

Popped it open to repaste. Here's the old paste job just before cleaning.

Cleaned and ready for repaste. There's a bit of scuffing on the heat sink plate, I think that happened on the first mounting attempt when I couldn't get it to sit right and there was a lot of sliding around.

And the results of prime95 is....one degree C lower. But I did remove sides and front. So I'm going to call it a wash.

What do you think of the scuffs on the thermal plate? Would that really matter? The worst scuff is off to the side, so I'm mainly thinking of the smaller marks toward the center. There's a few minor marks on the CPU IHS as well. It kind of looks like dust but a couple of passes with the microfiber shows it's not.
