OC I7-5820K Gone Wrong.. Not sure why :s

Hey All

My X99 (Asus Sabretooth) I7-5820K build began to suffer a bit performance wise and I thought to OC my CPU. I mostly play iRacing and unfortunately this game is very CPU heavy (especially in VR).
I have a Corsair WC set so I thought I would be fine fiddling with CPU voltage and multiplier. I started out with multiplier 42 and 1,3v. I let it benchmark for 4 hours straight and attempted to go for 44 with same voltage. I got immediately got a voltage error during post and decided to revert to my "safe" OC of 4.2. Then I found out on a forum that 96% of the Haswell E's should be able to get to 4,40ghz @ 1,296V. So attempted to change the voltage to 1,296. My motherboard changed it to 1,2985 so I thought his would be fine. Rebooted and got a undervoltage warning again. After this warning my pc just turned off. The next boot I didn't get any video feed at all and the pc would just turn off again after 10 seconds. Next I attempted following steps:

* Clear cmos -> same problem
* Remove battery -> same problem
* attempted offline bios update using flashback -> bios flash succeeded but same problem after reboot
* swapped PSU -> same problem
* remove all usb cables, ram sticks, graphics card to make sure nothing else could cause the problem -> same problem
* checked the cpu for physical damage -> nothing found
* reseated cpu -> same problem

So I think I can be sure that its either my motherboard or my CPU. But can I be sure I should I order replacement motherboard and CPU? Also not really sure what I did wrong? Could it be possible that AI tweaker did not correctly alter my voltage or bursted 12v into the board in stead of 1,2? I think it would be safest to install my current CPU in another board to make sure what's broken? I don't want my possibly broken board kill another CPU

Hi,
Mostly considered a good sample with 1.3v for 4.5 on 5930k
5820k is supposed to do better

Newer bios mostly for broadwell-e jolts vccio cpu 1.05 voltage to 1.25v which might of fried the chip and possibly taken out the board too seeing everything I've read says don't exceed 1.2v ever.
Also said to jolt vccsa well over 1.2v

Lastly ai suite is pure crapware never install it.
Do all oc edits in bios.

Hi, I have changed all in BIOS which happens to call "AI Tweakers zone" There I setup manual mode for multiplier and CPU voltage..

Hi,
Good I was just saying ai suite shouldn't be used just incase you did have it installed.

Do you remember what memory frequency was being used ?
Someone else also showed just raising it will cause vccio cpu 1.05 voltage to spike to 1.25v as well if left on auto :/

ASUS didn't do any of use haswell-e users any favors on broadwell-e bios so which bios were you on ?
2101 is what I'm on it's the last bios that didn't spike vccio cpu 1.05v to 1.25v by leaving it on auto :/
