Thanks for your answer mattliston. Indeed, it shows that you should disable SVID when you overclock. So i turned off both SVID (CPU and DRAM) and also disabled Asus multicore.
But unfortunately i still get just the 3700mhz on 7 cores
Is there nobody who has/had the same problem?

Thanks,
pedda.

Did you turn turbo back on after that?

Yeah. As soon as I turn off Turbo Mode, i just get 3.2 Ghz.
I have no clue what i do wrong or which setting i have to change, that the overclock work out on every single core.

So guys, after hours of googling, i have found the issue, but no solution so far.
It was the Windows update 1809 of windows in September 2017. I never checked my overclock since last year, but microsoft stopped the overclocking of broadwell e. With the release of the bios asus 1903 it should be fixed.
As soon as i get an answer of Asus, i will post it here!

I haven't read through all of this but you do know all active cores run at the same frequency at any instant in time. What you see as differences are due to sampling the threads at different times. You probably see core 0 consistently run higher because it gets a boost when other cores are parked (idle).

hey i have a similar problem. only with a 6800k. the only solution i have found is using the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and setting the cores.

That is true for processors like your 8086K that only support Intel Turbo Boost 2.0. The 6900K Broadwell-E CPUs support Turbo Boost 3.0. These CPUs can run different multipliers on each core simultaneously.

You also want to disable speedstep and leave turbo ON, on this platform you need turbo on for the OC to apply. There was also a microcode bug that was breaking the overclock for broadwell-e which has been linked in the broadwell-e thread above. Bios 1903 should fix that and is available now and also does increase performance.
