Twitch streaming with q9550?

Hello, i'm using i7 4770k 4.4ghz oced and gtx 980 ti with 8gb of ram for gaming. With this setup i stream [email protected] but there is some input lag in games like apex legends. So i decided to use my old q9550 based pc to dedicated streaming pc via ndi scan software to obs. I have 10mbit upload and 2 gigabit ethernet lan in my house. So will it work? Is q9550 can handle 60fps steaming encode? Sorry for.my weak english.

If your 4770k can't handle streaming (though 5-15s stream delay is completely normal) how do you imagine Q9550 being able to in any decent quality?

Well actually i imagine because with 2nd pc i7 4770k will not try to encode video, q9550 will do that instead of gaming pc.

As a dedicated streaming pc the core 2 quad will work fine. I am seeing streamers using a raspberry Pi to do the same and the Pi has no where near the processing power your old c2q has.

It should work as long as you have it dedicated to that one task and keep background services and processes that are not necessary at bay

Becasue you're taking the load off the gaming CPU and moving it to an entirely different CPU.
Game runs better and the stream runs better, pretty common to have something much lower spec as a streaming box.

Whatever floats your boat, I've streamed quite a lot, 4690k @4.8GHz back then and now on 5775c.,unless you want crap quality you should not go for this Q9550 as a dedicated machine.

Update: at ultrafast preset and 6500bitrate i've got good results but quality is not good. I wish it to handle veryfast preset which is sweet spot for quality and performance... So 720p and 60fps in veryfast preset working good also and i decided to use it.

I don't think it would be that good since it doesn't have avx support. When you get past 6k bit rate people on mobile connections can have problems with the video buffering.
