Question in relation to i5 8600k OC

Hello I recently upgraded to a I5 8600k from my I7 950. Iv done lots of reading and watching videos on people trying to OC their 8600k, even a few from MSI as that is my MB and I am still a bit lost. A lot of people are simply punching in 1.4v on vcore and hitting x50 on the multiplier and claiming its safe. I have tried to do my own testing before coming for help. Everything on Auto with 4.7Ghz on the CPU, xmp turned on for ram and I ran prime for 18h small FFT test. No issues. The volts were sitting at 1.184 and bounce to 1.2 in general use. Temps idle in the 30/40's and hit 70's under Prime.
So to hit 5GHz I tried locking in 1.25. It kept failing up to 1.3. Now 1.3 was still failing but my tempts also reached into the high 80's so I didnt want to go further. I am currently running my system at the stable 4.7GHz with all voltages on Auto.

My question is whether this is safe to leave 24/7? My vcore bounces between 1.184 - 1.2v. I have read that auto features send more voltage than required but this still seems quite low. Should I try lock down a voltage at 4.7 and If so is it simply Vcore that I need to lock? Is it worth trying to hit that 5GHz if 4.7 is stable?

My system is:

CPU: I5 8600k
Cooler: Corsair H80i v2 push/pull config
MB: MSI z370 a Pro (MS-7B48)
Ram: 16gb (8gbx2) Corsair Vegence 2666 MHz
GPU: Rog Strix 2080 oc 8gb
PSU: Silverstone 750w 80+Gold

I wanted a moderate OC as the 8600k bottlenecks my 2080 a little bit but when my pc store offered a 2080 for $250 more than the 2070 I was eyeing I couldnt say no.
Thanks for help

Your settings are fine. For 5.0GHz I have offset set to give 1.296v core voltage with running prime95 no AVX.

Awesome thanks, good to know. What offset are you running? Have you set any volts manually?

I'm using +0.120v offset that I set manually.

The main limit here is the cooler which is not very good
Depending on the version of the PSU you have it might not be all that good either, ther first Strider Gold was good but the versions afterwards was much worse

Ah seems like I got swindled a little bit. I was told these would be adequate. I have the Silver stone ET750-HG. I was hoping to not upgrade this for a long time but if the components are going to fail me what AIO cooler and PSU would you recommend I look into?

I don't about the ET750W in detail, but pretty much any big brand name 750W is fine, so don't worry about your PSU it's fine.

You have a very nice build, I have i5-9500k w/ Z370 and rtx 2070 OC, and have a thermalright silverarrow 2x140mm CPU cooler. At 1st I thought it was no good w/ i5-9600k, but it was my bad overclock. Turns out it's just fine. In fact it's an excellent cooler, as I already knew from years of use. I use around 1.25V for 4.5GHz 24/7. I should find the lower limit of the voltage for this OC, but I hate running P95.

Most SilverStone PSU´s are mediocre but the only info i could find on yours is CWT is the OEM

As for CLC coolers
