Intel Management Engine Interface not installed

I have OC to 4.2 and passed a stress test running prime95 for 12hrs without crash. However, the pc would crash at idle. After searching what may be the cause, some suggest to update or use the motherboard recommended version of Intel Management Engine Interface. When I search for this interface under device manager, I do not see it installed. From what I read, this driver communicates between the pc and the motherboard?

Where can I download this interface and what verison? A search comes up with 2 different version and I do not know which one I need.

Hello. In that link above under firmware & bios tab, firmware section, the instructions states 'Before using the tool, make sure the Intel Management Engine Interface Driver is installed and follow the simple instruction.'

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards...HelpDesk_BIOS/
Intel Management Engine Firmware upgrade program
For better Windows® 8 compatibility, this tool will update the Intel® Management Engine(ME) firmware to 8.1.
Before using the tool, make sure the Intel Management Engine Interface Driver is installed and follow the simple instruction.
1.Download and extract the file to a folder
2.Double click the MEtool execution file to run the updating tool
3.Follow the tool instruction to complete updating
*During updating, DO NOT shut down or restart system to prevent an incomplete update.

Update: My adblocker had blocked some contain under Drivers & Tools. I see what you are stating now.

Yes, I have installed the usb and sata ones.

This link doesn't have any older chipset other than one given.
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards...Desk_Download/

With this link, I should try 'Intel MEI Driver v6.2.50.1050 (ME 6)' under 'D4. Old Intel MEI Driver Only' section?

The latest driver compatible with Z77 is 11.0.5.1189. It may be listed as a version as late as 11.0.11.1193, but the driver itself is 11.0.5.1189. Drivers that are 11.1.*.* or later are not compatible with Z77.

I'm curious as to why your device is not showing. It might be showing under "Other Devices", but knowing Windows 10, it might be running it's own driver. Intel Chipset driver package also has it's own NULL driver it will use for ME if installed.

If you want, I can look at it through teamviewer as I am genuinely curious.

The only reason why I am trying to install this interface in the first place because a search lead me to believe the cause of my OC to 4.2 freezes only at idle. While underload using prime95 it runs without issues. I also have other issues with the motherboard where if the pc freezes, bsod, reset, etc, the bios seems to reset the voltage to a default settings. Any changes in voltage in bios will not have any affect. The only why to fix it is to short the cmos pins whenever the pc freezes. I am hoping this missing imei is the answer to my resetting of cmos and freezes at idle. Prior to the oc, the pc runs with no glitches at stock settings.

Under other device, there is a only device and it has a question mark. It is for a Marvell 91xx which I may have the driver for it, but haven't installed it.
