9900k vs 8086k worth the upgrade?

So the title pretty much sums it up. I currently own a 8086k delided, liquid metal under a copper IHS. Runs at 5.2 daily with corsair h100i-v2. Good temps at idle and at gaming. I ended up getting a killer deal on a 9900k brand new. Is it even worth upgrading to the 9900k for just gaming? Seeing the benchmarks and then the temps from the i9 kinda makes me scratch my head on this. Better off just selling the i9 and using money for new m/kb and other small pc goodies?

For gaming, stick with the 8086k. the 9900k will do nothing more for you in that department.

I'd expect up to 20% difference and mostly it'd be like 10%. Unless your investment would not require too much money I'd stick to the 8086k

keep your 8086k runs way cooler same gaming. 9900k are hard to cool and the lottery is hard with them. I had a golden 8700k , sold it and tried 9900k it took me 3 to find a decent sample that ran same temps
