Decision on my 5960X overclocked @ 4.6

Wondering if I should just upgrade video card for now or upgrade system? Gaming and streaming is all that is done on my rig.

I think the only way you would really see any gains upgrading the cpu is if you play at 1920x1080. If at 1440p or above Id 100percent look at a new GPU if you feel like upgrading.

5960X at 4.6 is no slouch, especially if you got decent system RAM. In any case, with 1440p gaming, a new GPU will far more likely yield you a better return on your $s

With 8 Cores/16 Threads you're good till the end of the upcoming consoles. If you have money to spare go for a new card!

I'm looking forward to hearing about people running these CPUs at the end of the ps5 console cycle and learning how well they hold up... In about 8 years.

Well my 4 Core/8 Threads is still doing great after nearly 6 years since this console gen only needed so much power to game and that's what AAA devs aim for then port to PC. Indy titles, well no horse power is much needed there.
