Maybe somehow the CPU is being recognized but there is any bug on it.

Gigabyte Aorus Elite purchased just few months ago. Booted up after building it on the first shot. Ram was at 2133, so I fixed that with XMP. Nothing else touched..

AIDA64 benches are not that great for precise comparisons especially with their limited results.

The rest is all about do you get the clocks you should with no throttling? Is the performance as it should be or how much lower.

Thank you soo much for swift response. I just ran Cinebench R20 and it gives 4598 points. Is that normal or is it very low ?

That's about par for the 9900k. Processor is running just fine. If the computer is slow, its something other than the processor.

I get a score of 4962 in R20 at 4.7GHz and 3200 RAM. You're most likely hitting Intel default power and current limits, you'll get a good boost just by increasing those limits (assuming your cooling is ok). I don't know the Gigabyte BIOS so I can't really tell you the specific setting name.

Speaking of which we got it to 3200Mhz RAM it was set to 2133Mhz. But now computer boots and gives boot failure and drops the memory frequency back down to 2133Mhz.... sighs.....

Just curious, what kinda storage does your father have? I wonder if tests you were running were in anyway bottlenecked there?

tuning 2133 sticks up to 3K is gonna take a bit more work than just turning up the clock & the voltage. you'll have to loosen the timings a good bit.
