Quit it with these fake Ryzen vs 10980XE benchmarks

Im so heated about this subject. First off I posted in the Intel section because this primarily has to do with the 10980XE and its comparison to Ryzen 12 core and 3950x. The first benchmarks of the 10980XE were from a Romanian site and Ryzen was beating up the 10980XE but that is a bunk benchmark because the 10980XE was clocked at stock 3Ghz. These latest benchmarks with the 3900x and 3950x vs 10980XE are all fake. Because they put the 10980XE to stock 3Ghz. Well no ***** its going to be slower then a Ryzen. Why don't they use Turbo Boost 3.0 @ 4.8Ghz vs Ryzen OCed. Not Ryzen at turbo and 10980XE at stock. Wait til the processor is about to come out or when it comes out the reviews if people do it correctly will show Intel smack AMD. Now I in no means am a AMD hater, I just find it very unfair these sites compared a stock 10980XE to a boosted Ryzen.

My prediction. The 10980XE @ 4.8Ghz will punish the 3900x and 3950x. Look if they ran the 10980XE at 4.8Ghz and it loses to Ryzen then fine I accept that and would think about getting a Ryzen over a HEDT Intel. sighs...

Well my motherboard is botched crashes left and right so I need a new system. This old HEDT kept me going for 7 years but I must upgrade as I can't have a good workflow when ***** freezes or crashes the motherboard is botched or something is up but no fixing it. Tried different video card same, Tried one stick RAM at time , still no good. Im in desperate need of a new CPU mobo and RAM. If the 10980XE full load is 450w then that is acceptable any higher then the electricity bill will be a lot and what not.

Desperate need of new CPU RAM and motherboard but wont buy anything on the market right now and wants to wait for something with little to no info on it
You are not in desperate need in that case so just buy something already if you really are desperate

Hi,
After the dumping of left over 99..x chips not sure why you passed
I seriously don't see cascade lake being better just cheaper
Personally think CL might be less dependable with maybe new fab
99..x sure didn't live long for me or a few others had dead ones fairly early after using
79..x series seemed pretty freaking tough.

Either way coming from x79 anything is an upgrade if that is what is messed up now.
Try on linux see if it crashes...
