I saw that with the last Asus motherboard (Encore), there was a score for the Cascade Lake-X, it is not very reliable I suppose
I've had my 10980XE for around 5 months now with no problems running it this way. I will say my cpu is a silicon lottery binned CPU, So it does seem to use less voltage than an average one.

My friend's 10980XE already needs 1.10v to 3000
These CL-X require more voltage than the 7000 series
I dont see any Problem till 1,3VMesh and VCCIO.
But i also use my B-Dies Daily at 1,7V

The 10980XE I ordered back in December will finally be in my hands next week. I posted a similar question back in January, but I'm wondering if anyone can comment on these settings as people may have done more real world testing since then.

I will be pairing it with the ASUS X299 Prime Deluxe II, Corsair 4000MHz RAM and the Corsair 360mm AIO. From what I've read, it appears that a good percentage of these CPU's are stable at 4.6GHz all core. I'm not a hardcore overclocker looking to push the envelope, I'll happily forgo the extra 100-200MHz for a rock solid setup as I do a lot of x265 encoding which uses AVX512. If I've missed any other important settings that should enabled/set, please advise. Thanks in advance!

Curious, where did you order from? I am still waiting on mine! Lol Same as you man. I've never seen anything like this. I've been using a 10 core and may just stick with it.

Hello

It is advisable to disable SVID in bios with an OC
On the Asus Rampage VI Extreme, leaving AUTO, it was disabled
But with the R6E Encore, leaving AUTO, it is enabled

It is always better to disable it ?

Thanks

Sorry for my english

I have also read this, but I prefer to leave it on enable because if I do not activate it I do not have readings of the CPU consumption. It has never given me any problems with overclocking ([email protected]).

Yes it is necessary to "display" the consumption, I read at the time that it was better to disable it to prevent the FIVR from communicating with the CPU (or something like that)

Now, what does that really change for the OC, I don't know

I don't know either. So the only advice I can give you is to do what I do, not give anything by the way and prove it for yourself. In my case, zero differences, therefore, I leave it active.
