8700k overheating

I got an 8700k with a asus z370 strix mini itx and I have a couple of quick questions. First of all this thing runs hot , I was able to overclock it to 5ghz at 1.37v but I have to use a -2 avx offset or I hit 100c and crash under stress tests. I have a 240mm corsair aio cooler. Stock settings everything runs fine and barely hit 70c on hottest cores. Should I just delid cpu and stop messing with anything else. I'll double check the aio today but I'm sure its seated properly because I only have high temps when I go past 1.3v.

A delid will help some but you probably just got a hot running chip. My 8700K is similar, 5.1G @ 1.35V easily hits 80c+ delidded on a custom loop with just cinebench.

It's a corsair aio. Pump and fans are at 100percent. And there are 3 case fans. Two pushing air in and one pulling out plus the two on the radiator of the aio are pushing out on top of case.
