Can't seem to purchase fast enough on Newegg when it's back in stock. Google shows some off the wall stores with cpu in stock but don't know bin on it.
Any recommended sites with good purchase experience?

Do NOT buy from newegg history says its horrible for binned chips. Other sites like amazon is up in the air what you will get. I have decided to wait for best buy to come in stock nab it for 1k and 100 tax. Also Silicon Lottery site is up in the air as well. Dec 28th ETA .... Ill bet my life they wont have jack on Dec 28th and they will extend that number to Feb ... sad.
they haven't hit the shelves properly yet, 100 here, 100 there, still a paper release for most future owners. ETA unknown. Intel's probably piping to the few customers they have left in the server market first
R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.
If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.
Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.
So far, I'm pretty happy with it. It's running cooler than the relidded 7940x it replaced. Max temp has been 70 degrees at stock on air cooling with Prime95, slightly less with Lightwave 3D renders.
I'm running it at stock for a couple of weeks to make sure the system is 100% stable before pushing it. I did have some problems with the system at first. Loooooooong POST screens, like 5-10 minutes of a blank screen before the BIOS prompt showed up, frequent boot failures, and BIOS being reset to defaults. Reseating the RAM seems to have taken care of that. I've rebooted a few dozen times and power cycled a few times since then with no issues.
