I lost my respect for Intel although I am still a Intel fanboy

My last AMD was the 3200+ XP eons ago. Then I remember getting the Core 2 Quad. I have stuck with Intel all these years and right now with their 6 week delay and alto on the Intel site it shows Q4 2019 they blew it. Are they waiting for everyone to get a 12 ana 16 core Ryzen then they release their stuff; When already people have jumped on the readily available as of now 3950x. So apparently Intel wants to lose customers instead of shipping first. No Christian and no New Years. So many people jumped to 3950x. I hope and wish Intel continues to lose customers with their pathetic BS they have been feeding us.

Why would you lose respect for the fastest chips. . Amd has done great on the multi core front but it’s slower for everyday task as I use one at work. If you want fast latency you go intel if you want heavy decode you go amd. Unless you really understand the architecture of both you can’t say one is better than the other. Now can intel do better. 4 sure but intel had the lead for almost 15 years. I hope the new ryzen can make ipc and latency gains I really do but intel understands and owns the memory interconnect game at the moment and ryzen need to have a large cache to keep up. I think amd will be ahead next year for sure only time will tell, but you can bet people with the new nvidia gpu will be running intel even if it is 300 watt fireball
