Could i overclok an i7 6950x to 5 ghz+

I have a 6950x and was wondering if i could get it to 5ghz+. I have an ek extreme 240 loop for cooling.

If you use LN2 perhaps lol but with regular water cooling I don't see it happening at least based on mine which seems to max out at 4.4 at somewhat reasonable voltage.

I understand the newer bios limits overclcok ability, I would use the older one. This oc wouldnt be sustainable and i understand that. Could i achieve it with putting the radiator in an ice bucket ot other temporary workarounds

lol, it likely would cause problems just booting into Windows before you even put a load on it.

sub-ambient (or rather sub-zero) cooling lets you run higher voltage without damage, on ambient you probably shouldn't push more than 1.45v on 14nm.
