yeah. I made this mistake with my 7820x. Don't buy a low bin. Go all out or play the lottery imo

I'd say you made out fine with a 7820X that will hit 4.8GHz IMO. My SL 4.8GHz 7820X was great, ran 32x mesh just fine though.

Only 2 cores can hit 4.8 and it takes 1.32 vcore on each. I can't run mesh past 3.1. 3.2 is unstable even at 1.22.
