It would be pointless of me to overclock the cpu for my needs

I run a DAW that is why Im getting the 10980XE. In DAW core counts not the speed of the core. Other thing I do that takes up juice is gaming. Gosh let it be 7fps lower but at safer OC and safer temps overall. So I have decided to turn on Turbo 2.0 and 3.0 and fix RAM to 3200Mhz and call it a rig until 2030. Only video card gets updated that is it.

ok

I'm glad you finally got your sample.

R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.
If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.
Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.

This is just the kind of high quality, thought provoking, overclocking related discussion I was coming here for. 10/10 would read again.
