Post Your Maximus XI Gene Memory and CPU Overclock Results

I noticed some of the other motherboards have a dedicated thread and thought it would be nice if the Asus Maximus XI Gene had it's own thread also. Especially since it's a good overclocking board with some potential.
If everyone could include a recent screen shot showing their Aida64 memory and cache results, a memory configurator and an HWInfo64 shot with the main voltages and temps etc
And if you could run a Cinebench R20 or R15 before taking the screen shot

A rig builder or list of components in your signature would make life a bit easier also

I look forward to seeing your results.

Well that's nice, what kinda RAMS is that?
For some reason, I got 2 nice sets that work with Intel but not AMD?

One's ddr4-4000 and the other is DDR4 4133

Both B-die. They worked b4, wth?

Oh! I might have that..was doing it earlier..

Oh yeah! I get 77ns latency, is that bad?
This RAM is crap.

I'm mad! That's more than 1/2 the latency!

Yeah, I don't has that chip or mobo.

Maximus 11? Wow. Did I ever get rid of that Maximus III Gene?

XMP only sets primary timings, you'd get good latency numbers too if you dialed in your secondaries and tertiaries and took them off auto. OPs RAM is likely ~60ns too at XMP.

I'm running a 9900KS which has been de-lidded, die and water-block lapped & liquid metal TIM with a direct die custom loop.

Right now its running at 5.3Ghz with 4.9Ghz cache with 1.480v (BIOS) at LLC 5. This is about 1.350v load in RB 2.56 IIRC. I can get RB to pass 8 hours with a lower voltage but OCCT Large w AVX2 will immediately trigger errors.

I've played around with LinpackExtreme and LinX a bit. Using XMP both will pass with matching residuals at 5.3Ghz but will only hit mid 300s for GFLOPS. Using my memory timings, it will hit over 540 GFLOPS but pulls a massive amount of power through the CPU. Right at or close to 300 watts, which is way more than I'm comfortable with. The temps are fine as I'm not looping it for hours and hours, but I don't know if that power draw is bad for the CPU.

I'm still working on my memory timings, and I only got my G.Skill 4266Mhz kit to 4300Mhz but with tighter timings. I can't get it to boot higher than 4300Mhz even with very loose timings. I'm running very reasonable voltages, 1.415v DRAM and 1.2500v VCCIO and VCCSA so maybe that's my limiter. I'd like to get the memory speed higher but am surprised by that 4300mhz wall I ran into.

The memory OC guide I followed was linked to me by another member here and was very beneficial.

https://github.com/integralfx/MemTes...0OC%20Guide.md

ETA: LinX 35000 will peak at 237 amps, 305 watts with 553 GFLOPS. Residuals don't match though.

Trying to get 4600-18-18-18-38-2T stable. It's pretty close but no cigar
It trains so well but there is something more it needs to be stable
tRFC was tested at 400. Was trying 375 to see what it did to the Aida result, so that's not the issue

I included the .CMO file so it can be loaded to the BIOS and inspected

Any help appreciated

G.SKILL TridentZ (F4-3000C14D-16GTZR) 33.33% overclock

Was able to get a fairly low 3000Mhz frequency up to 4000Mhz. I've been running this daily so the dram voltage is set to 1.475 in the bios. You can see what the actual voltages under stress in the HWinfo screen shot.
I don't know how to to the rig builder yet so I'll list the basics.

Currently it is running at 4600 17-17-17-35 2T 1.5V. IO=1.35V SA=1.4V.

POST can be up to 5000 18-18-18-40 1.6V but Windows won't load.

Timing is showing here. Currently running G skill 4133C17D kits. I was trying to find 4266C17 but failed.

Under this timing, PUBG all day with no problem.
