You can build a pretty potent system on the cheap with a Ryzen 1600 AF and a second hand Vega 56 these days. Or for 1080p go R9 390 for $70 like I just did. Would make for a nice system to hold you over and still be able to play all your favorite PC titles.

CPU
Ryzen 3900X
Motherboard
MSI X470 Gaming Plus
GPU
MSI R9 390 8GB
RAM
16GB DDR4-3000
Hard Drive
120GB HP M700 SSD
Hard Drive
Samsung Spintpoint M9T 2TB
Hard Drive
Seagate Barracuda 500GB
Power Supply
Corsair HX1200 (2017)
Cooling
Thermalright True Spirit 140
Case
Fractal Define S
Operating System
Windows 10 LTSC
Keyboard
Alienware W/Cherry MX Switches
Mouse

So you believe those CPUs will be worse than current gen Intel? And people applause you for this? Stupid times we live in.

I guess you imply AMD will remain a better option but as I wrote, the game I play doesn't run well on AMD. That's a specific case and that's real. So I'll buy one of those two processors because they will be live in a couple months and they will be the best option for me, no discussion.

I asked a specific question, 10600K or 10700K, you don't answer it so all you say is non interesting.

Psssh you don't need an armored truck. There's this turtle rig guy who knows some people that could hook you up..

@OP - Either one is going to perform at a high level. If you can spare the additional cost without much trouble go for the better of the two. If the additional cost is bothersome go for the second option.

good point there wont be any police.

Turtle Rig's hook up is through intel though. and AMD has the edge on server cores.

If we got a armored truck I guess, heck just storm Indiana State and play minecraft on Big Red
