Our "Free Market" relies on China. Anyways just because an item is for sale on Ebay, it doesn't mean anyone is buying it. Only one way to find out. Actually there is probably a way to see if they are actually selling. Ebay stats or something

Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 Non XT Boost Core 2035 Gaming Ram 950 with a 20$ Chinese waterblock on the, Ryzen 3700x 4.25 ghz, 15$ Chinese waterblock, 3200 ddr3 cl16 Team T-FORCE VULCAN TUF B450m Asrock Pro 4 Mobo, 700 Watt OCZ PSU. 6 gallon res + back of a toilet tank with 240 mm radiator.

We ran our mining cards on x1 slots with no change in performance. Could run 6-8 cards depending on how the mobo was set up, though everything was on AMD systems which may or may make a difference.

771 Xeons are in fact better and cheaper than this.
SSE 4.1 means you can run some newer programs.

It only requires some low-skill mods.
Cut two pieces of plastic, apply a cheap sticker adapter and flash a modded bios.

Even the fastest pc in the world cannot beat imagination.

I've got hundreds of the little stickers in a draw under my PC. I used to bring the old Xeon CPUs in from Aliexpress, about thirty at a time

Because it's worthless and the amount of seller setting the price is small and even smaller is the amount of potential buyers so there is little to no price regulation from seller/buyer dynamic. Especially older Intel CPUs tend to be offered for insane money when you can for the same buy a new CPU with warranty and same or better performance, 2nd hand CPU sellers are nuts.

If you look at newer Intel CPUs such as Haswell/DC etc. they are now at double the price of what a comparable Ryzen sells for, and that's looking at the best lowest offers. Selling a used old 4790K for what a 4690K used to cost new when it launched... yeah no thanks when equivalent Ryzen costs half that.

Intel tax. People want $150 for a i7 4770k. When a $85 1600af is much faster and newer ram

Thought I might add that I did sell my Q9650 for $50 recently. And I am very much considering using the money for a give away. I'm big on giving back to the community when I can.
