You dont need 4.7 GHz on idle, as soon as your CPU going on load it will automatic go to 4.7 GHz

But if you really want always 4.7 GHz just change to Maximum Performance on windows Power settings.
Yeah I get that, all I meant was it should do 4.7 GHz without a sweat and why clock it to under this. May as well get the non k!

I am happy with my 10700K running at 5.1 for gaming (under 60c), not the best chip in the world, but not the worst either....

Yeah it's winter here so house never gets above 23, usually 20-22!

Summer maybe a different story however I have an air con 3 meters away so the colder air will get sucked into the PC.

Nice results. Is it stable in a stress test? What is your vccio/vccsa?

I also have a 10700k and Unify and I get the highest memory bandwidth with a ring clock of 47.

VVCIO 1.8V

VCCSA 1.20V

I run blender bencmark which is took 30 minutes, highest temp was 96

Also run occt no avx for 45 min and hadn't any issues

But i'm using [email protected] w/ LLC5 Ring 48 for daily usage.

Nice. I was 5.3 stable in Blender, then 5.4 after a delid. Before the delid, it kept locking in the barcelona test.

Your VCCIO is too high. Set it below 1.4v. You can also raise VCCSA up to 1.4v if it helps with stability.

Looking for some advice from going to 5 > 5.1/5.2.

It seems I need crazy amounts of VCORE to go from 5 to 5.1.
For a stable 5.0ghz clock, 1.25v in BIOS which gives 1.23v VROUT which is a great result. This makes me feel 5.1 shouldn't be this hard.
However, To achieve 5.1, I need 1.32v in BIOS which leads to 1.30v VROUT with temps in the low 90's.

Dud chip or do is there something I'm overlooking for stability and lower voltages at 5.1?

Screenshot below are current stable load stats for prime95 smallFFT no AVX:
