Aorus Master Board / 9900k - Looking to monitor some values

Hi,

i'm looking for a software to monitor dmi voltage, pll termination voltage, Pch core voltage... and what are the exact equivalent in aorus bios? I know there is an asus soft for that, Turbo Vcore but can't find anything for aorus / gigabyte

Thanks

Hi
What is considered enough for testing OC stability?

I've done occt large avx 2 but only got an hour
Small without avx for 30m (had to do some work on the pc)

I was told ton run small with avx but does it really matter I mean is there any real world usage of the cpu they would push it so hard?

Thanks

I am not sure whether HardwareInfo covers all of that but it should...Download the latest Beta version as it has an update for Gigabyte boards and now reads VR VOUT and to many more to list. See my list below.

As to testing for OC stability it just depends. If you are using your PC for normal day to day use i.e. gaming some productivity etc the Cinebenchr20 loops for 30 minutes, Prime95 for an hour should be enough...I will probably told I am wrong but for me that worked fine and I have never had an issue once I have done my overclock and tested. Temps are everything and I try to stay below 1.35v on any over clocks I do.

I prefer adaptive to fixed vcore but I am having trouble on my Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Ultra motherboard so I have gone fixed at 1.3v for my 5.1GHz all core on my 10700K which is near on the same as the 9900K.

HardwareInfo latest Beta version and this was whilst running CinebenchR20

My HWinfo reads VR out, this is the results after 2h large OCCT avx 2, i guess it's all good.

For adaptive i could not manage to get it stable so i left it like this with LLC turbo / 1.24

One thing I don't get is why may RAM is getting so hot though .

Yep that looks very good...so no issues. I also am having issues getting adaptive to work properly though I do remember something about the internal IA/VR?? and something similar needing to be set to 1 which helps a lot...Will have to go through some of the older threads to find that again.

On the RAM temps, that is not too bad and maybe more to do with overall airflow on your case. Just noticed your case and it is the Cooler Master H500M which is very good with the dual 200mm fans and mesh front so that can't be the issue. What are the ambient temps where you are?

Yeah I set up the 1/1 but I didn't managed it maybe I need tu put more vcore.

Yes it's that case. The cpu is running around 37 min on desktop and browsing with peaks to 42.

My ambiant are quite high its between 26 and 29 those days. Warm parisian weather..

I don't really understand about the ram temps yes.

Okay your ambient temps are high so that maybe it...Idles here on CPU are 27 to 30 degrees but it is much cooler here in the UK. It is about 15 to 16 degrees C outside and a bit higher inside so my temps are low...I was having the same issues and even when I upped the adaptive ofset it still peaked to 1.4v so I just went back to fixed which actually is not to bad as it stills ramps speed down and more importantly the actual power draw is near on the same as adaptive at idle...Temps are the same so I will live with it.

I am sure I can go a bit lower than my 1.285v and will test over the next few days to see how low I can go..

Just checked some sites on RAM temps and I think you are more than okay as temps can go a lot higher without issues. Just run a RAM stress test to make sure you have no errors and if it passes then no worries. You could also try to drop the RAM voltage a tad but that might cause instability. What is your ram rated at for voltage?
