You call that "cleaning" - not the descriptive I would've used...

Intel Xeon E5-2687W v2, Huanan Zhi x79 Deluxe, Samsung 4x16 GB ECC DDR3 @ 1600, Coolermaster Masterliquid ML240L RGB, Gigabyte Gaming GTX 980Ti 6GB, Samsung 960 Pro 500 GB NVMe M.2 SSD, 12TB onboard Hard Drives, LG BluRay/DVD Burner, Cougar 800 Watt GX Series 80 Plus Gold PSU & housed in a Coolermaster Cosmos II Case...what a monster !!

Windows 8.1 Pro...Microsoft; sold my Kaby Lake setup 'cause you're not gonna force me to use that Windows 10 rubbish!!

This. Whatever that crap is, it is clearly blocking several contact pads for the pins in the LGA socket.

And how did the bottom of the CPU even get like that lol?

looks like you lost some pads

how the hell did you even accomplish that? what did you clean with? scotch bright pad?

why would anyone need to clean the bottom of their CPU? at most, 99% iso + q-tip.

Add me on Steam, same name
