For i-don`t-know-what-app might 2600k be better but for real tasks like rendering both at the same GHz who in the world would think that SB wins???
I saw a vid of a mac pro with 2x6cores doing a cinebench --> OMG!

You going to dig up every thread you can find comparing SB to other cpus to get all excited that SB can beat a more expensive cpu at gaming?

With normal cooling, if you don't use any apps that take advantage of the extra cores/threads, SB comes out ahead. If you can use the extra threads, SB gets stomped on.
