I am new to overclocking and recently overclocked my Intel I 4770k to 4.7GHz, using Asus 4 way optimizer. My mobo is a asus z-87 pro. I am new to overclocking so the software option seemed a great place to start however since I overclocked the pc I have been getting a BSOD BC code error 119 during gaming on graphic rich games such as BF4 and Skyrim. I have been trying to decipher the issue and everything I can find online regarding the error code, leads to probably a issue with the video driver. Well, I am using an EVGA gtx geforce 760 4gb card, I went on their site directly and updated the driver as a few sites said that the auto update may not fix this.....after the update, I had no issues for an afternoon then next day I started getting the same thing to happen. So, for the time being until I am able to figure this out, I removed my overclock and reset the Asus suite 3 software. Any advice, suggestions? Please help....Im new to this, but want to make use of my watercooling loop and oc this cpu. I have also seen some people asking online regarding power supply...mine is brand new and is a evga spernova 1300 g2 so I do not believe this is the issue. Any advice, suggestions etc would be greatly appreciated...thank you. Feel free to ask me any questions if more info is needed....smile.gif

Go there and learn how to overclock your Haswell without using the n00b "auto-OC" function.

Are these BSOD codes still valid for Haswell/Haswell refresh CPUs? This is a great guide by the way
