mITX home server build
Hello, I am building a server pc, have already ordered the case and the ram, but have yet to get the motherboard and CPU as I am torn between looking at getting a $40ish dollar motherboard that is H110 and then have to play the BIOS lottery with the G4900 I would get, I spend like $90 on an AM4 motherboard that should work with a 2200G. I am really trying to find the cheapest mITX board with at least 4 SATA ports and should work out of the box with the newest CPUs. Anyone have any advice?
So far I have some HDDs to throw in and the Fractal Design Core 500 an EVGA 850BQ I forgot I had in a bin, and 4GB ddr4. The 2200G is much faster than the G4900 but this is going to be a one-trick pony PC that will never really "need" performance. Plan to run 24/7.
