Regarding to my 1 word quote (from krista031), I just want to give him/her my input about CC badge biggrin.gif

Adak .. just wonder if my team (38156) would be able to join CC ? biggrin.gif .... My teammates love to compete eventhough they don't have that many folders biggrin.gif

Yeah, I'm right off 29.

Seem a lil defensive there regarding smaller teams. It's not like OCN wouldn't get a multi in that situation with EVGA double OCN's daily production let alone [H] raising the standard if they join.

Edit: Looks like [H] won't be joining. A lot more no or eh votes than yes votes. And the thread is locked.

I believe the more teams in the race, the better.

Your few teammates do a fine job of folding, btw. thumb.gif

I'll bring your team's addition to the race, up to the (available) team captains, for a vote.

A bit off topic, but somebody has gotten too complacent with getting badges out. The world didn't come to an end - those badges should have been out a long time ago. Excuses shouldn't be allowed that much slack, regardless. Somebody needs to watch "Patton" with George C. Scott again, and then get 'er done.

Krista, you have to have a sense of humor about stuff like this, when it happens. Because these things will happen in your life, and there's no sense not laughing at them. Don't let them diminish your love of life and whatever you like doing. Life is short, badges are fairly insignificant in the overall scheme of things. Smile, laugh, and have fun - badge on time, or not.

As axipher stated, the reason the last round of badges was an issue was due to our recent platform transition to Huddler, as such the way in which our award system worked had changed dramatically and we where still developing upon that system to have it the way we needed it, now that we have worked out the kinks everything should run smoothly. We have been working on getting badges to those who have not received them and it is regrettable that it was not completed sooner but I am afraid that it was just one of things, all platforms have growing pains.

This year the Badges information will be collected by the Folding Editors and it will be passed on to myself for submission.

However lets focus on what we can do NOW about the CC competition, lets focus on being the best team possible and get as many WU to Stanford as possible during the CC :)

I have received no communication from mortimersnerd, and access to the Simple machines (captain's) forum, is unchanged. BWG, we need to get you access to the forum, and others as well. I've been trying to keep you abreast here, but I can't do this for every team captain who winds up with no access.

BWG would you be able to expedite this?

Unfortunately BWG might not be able to repesent OCN for the CC 2013 so I will take over as temporary repsentative for Overclock.net. I haven't talked to BWG yet so I don't know where discussions currently stand or where the information is stored. If someone could point me in the right direction and let me know what is required from OCN at this time, I will see what I can do.

I want to be sure that OCN (and hopefully every team), is represented in the captain's forum:
http://chimp.sagacioustechnologies.com/index.php?board=3.0

This is within the "Simple machines forum". Problem is, you and the other new captain's don't have access to the forum. mortimersnerd here at OCN has admin rights at this forum (Zodac states), and can make the needed change of access, etc. (we also need the privilege to start a new forum sub-category. We're currently using last years CC sub-category).

I PM'd mortimersnerd last week with this request, and have received no response.

If we can't use the Simple machines forum for private captain's meetings, can OCN or anyone else, set up a private sub-forum which can hold multiple threads?

We know from experience that the captain's forum needs to be captain's/co-captain's/team reps., access only.
