I ultimately decided to take the plunge, I figure I'll sell one of my other rigs to recoup some of the cost. I'll post my thoughts on whether it was worthwhile once I get everything assembled tomorrow.

Going from a Haswell i5 to a kaby i5 is pretty much just tossing money out.

I went for the i5, Figured I'd play the silicon lottery. If I get a ridiculous clocker, I'll keep it. If not I'll take a small loss and resell later on towards an i7

Update: Pulled a core A7 unit on my 7600k @ 4.8ghz. Estimated PPD: 40,000 on a 13801 unit, on 2 cores!!!!!
