I tore my hard tube loop down quite a while ago after upgrading my 2 x 780 Ti SCs to a single 980 Ti Classy when it arrived on the scene. Now that the FFW is fast approaching, I was wondering if I should throw a block on it, get a pump going, and water cool the snot out of it. Thoughts?

Put the a block on it and OC it through the roof - you will not be satisfied otherwise.

I feel its worth it just for case temps alone. Going wc did not change my oc potential for the 980ti's all that much but the heat is much more manageable. thumb.gif

Do it. It's nice to see NO throttling at all, even of if just 13MHz.

So, I just checked to see if I had enough fittings to do water-cooling just my Classy, unfortunately, I only have 2 compression fittings, there are only a full set of hard tube fittings. And, I'm certainly not doing hard tube again. Unless I get some fittings, there won't be any water cooling of anything.

Hahaha!! I will. I may put a wanted ad in the marketplace. I need 4 more. I have a dual DDC pump/res combo so I only need 2 for that, 2 for the block, and 2 for the rad.

Any reason you don't want to do hardline again?
