Just purchased a new gpu for my main rig and the 780 is being moved to my 24/7 folding rig. Any teams out there need an Nvidia folder?

I think he's at work right now but you need bait for Pimp.

GPU is moved and pulling around 225k ppd. Gotta figure out how to increase the fan speed yet. Up and running though.

Were you is the TC before? I think you should send a PM to @lanofsong and @PimpSkyline that includes your TC passkey so you can be added ASAP.

I would help you with the fan speed but your PPD tells me you are not running Windows. thumb.gif

If Linux then

sudo nvidia-xconfig --cool-bits=28

I ran that command. Couldn't find coolbits software in apps though. Found Nvidia X server but it wont let me adjust the fan speed, just monitor it. Do I have to run another command to adjust the fans? Ive checked around the next and everything I find is dated...

I used to fold for TC Explosm. Yeah, Im running Ubuntu 16. My temps are at 80 and I would like to get that down a bit. Its in one of those HUGE Dell Xps 510 cases thats been modded to flip the motherboard. Plenty of airflow.

Cool-bits is an option for the software you're looking it. The 28 # will allow for more options in nvidia x.

You will need to restart the computer for it to take effect :) Sorry, I should have said that.
