Dusting off the Folding gear

After a year hiatus, im baaaccckkk.. little more power this time around; Just got my second 1080 installed, A R9 Fury X is on the way, and as of an hour ago I got another GTX 960..

GTX 1080 x2 =~1.5M PPD
R9 Fury X = ~490k PPD
GTX 960 = 180k PPD
GTX 1050TI = 140k PPD
GTX 1050 = 128k PPD
GTX 1070m = 115k PPD

Grand Total = ~2.55M PPD

I know thats really not that much, but its a hell of a lot more than I used to do

Welcome Back. 2.5m PPD is quite a lot. That would put you 5th in daily PPD for OCN, atm.

Are you folding on processors too or just GPUs?

The only processor I fold on is my 2700X, For Team Competition.

May or may not be true, but I believe that folding on both processor and gpu simultaneously actually reduces he PPD of the GPU... but that's just me.

I think as long as you leave 1 core per GPU free you're fine. By default my client doesn't use all CPU cores and I'm guessing that's why.

Sorry to hear that. I'm still evaluating if I can afford to fold full or part time, and what parts I would need to make a relevant contribution (currently only able to offer 38k PPD)

So what is considered good PPD nowadays? I folded back in 2013, and I remember 100 to 200k being decent. Has much changed?

Check out the GPU PPD database:
https://www.overclock.net/forum/55-o...-database.html

75w pascal cards can do a couple hundred PPD and top end cards can do well over 1mil PPD.

Is that DB still current?
