Hey guys!

I'm new to the forum and plan to get to know all of you better. So let me start this relationship with a bang.

Welcome to the Asrock Z77 OC Formula dedicated thread where you can post scores and get help from Nick Shih himself.

This is a board purely made with overclockers in mind.

Take a look at the launch video:

Here is the latest bios and tools (i will update this on every new release)

BIOS:

BIOS L1.15B improved 2933 ratio , fixed memory clock reading error when loading user profile

Formula Drive:

Formula drive update to 0.2.12 (Fix some bugs and no more white color after OS theme)

Rapid OC:

Rapid OC to v1.0.15.1

Timing Configurator

Timing Configurator 1.0.7 add lots advanced timings. (But seriously, ALOT of timings biggrin.gif)

Download tools pack
Tools 0917

If you have any questions about this board or just want to chat about it feel free to go wild in this thread. Nick shih and myself will answer all questions as best we can.

RESULTS:

I tested a new cpu of mine and just run 3DMark 2006 to check the performance. I was pleasantly surprised when i saw it get 8th place worldwide for single card:

I have a questions in regards to this board. I am trying to design a build around it. I have looked for this information but came up empty handed.

1. What are the barb sizes on the water cooling setup and are they removable?

Thanks

The barbs are not removable, the size I am unsure of exactly, it is much much smaller then 3/4" OD tubing. If I would take a guess, it would be the smallest tubing possible with PC watercooling.

Was testing a new chip tonight and did some 5Ghz runs with vdimm @ 1.8v

First up is all auto on secondary and tertiary timings, all I did was set 8-12-8-28-1T and the rest is magic . . .

then I tested 1276 8-11-7-27 and surprisingly it was about the same as 2600 8-12-8

and then a decent 2600 run

mZNq9.png

also was able to get an 06 run in

this board is awesome, I just need a good chip which seems like it is never going to happen:rofl:

I've looked at this board and the thought of buying one has crossed my mind many times, but never until now did I know it had those OC buttons. I might have to pull the trigger on one of these very soon. Maybe I should have ordered a gold venom to go along with it instead of the red one tongue.gif
