More Powerful than Enough: dedicate 12 phases 90A digital power to CPU, with all aluminum design

Hmm who is making 90A powerstages, probably they are using the peak current spec on Infineon TDA21472?

AFAIK its Drmos. They have a new 90A part. We looked into it.... In general we still consider Infineon a higher tier than Drmos (as a brand/quality/etc), but its not far apart. Interested to see how they perform.

3 8-pin EPS=1200-1300W safely, more or less with a pair of good power supplies (or one with 3 EPS if it exists) and quality cables...

Spoiler!

DrMOS is a specification by Intel for integrated driver + MOSFET in a single package: https://www.intel.com/assets/pdf/refmanual/drmos.pdf . Infineon also refers to their power stages as DrMOS parts: https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/prod...tage/tda21220/
