Wow...just stumbled onto a weakness with my 7900X OC. When running the GOW 4 benchmark it freezed for the first time on my PC ever.
Checked the Event Viewer and saw a WHEA error: Reported by component: Processor Core, Error Source: Corrected Machine Check, Error Type: Internal parity error.
I remembered a while back dialing down my VCCIN to 1.900V. Didn't see any negative behavior and left it at that. Turns out it's too low for the load in that benchmark. Back to 1.920V and the WHEA error went away. FPS also improved about 5% and is more consistent from run to run.
