Edit: The R6A is now available for immediate shipping from Newegg!!

Mainly because many of us are anxiously awaiting the release of the new Rampage VI Apex board, thought I'd start a thread to track existing board info, links, release date rumors, availability, etc.. ahead of the forthcoming official ASUS Rampage VI Apex thread. I also use Rampage VI in most link descriptions to ensure to differentiate the x299 version from the X270 Maximus IX edition. So here goes:

Links:
Release Date: 24 August, 2017 (via US Newegg)

Price: $429.99 USD

If you have any other info, rumors, links, etc.. to include EKWB and other cooling support announcements, feel free to add to the discussion.

Cheers

The apex manual is now up on the site but not the extreme. I am interested in all the headers.

AIO_Pump - is for the water pump!
FS_FAN - how is this different from a CHA_FAN?
W_PUMP+ - I think this is for the RAD Fans!?
W_IN & W_OUT - for water temp probes
W_FLOW - obvious
ROG_EXT - for the OC Panel which I think is extra on apex but standard on Extreme
RGB_HEADERS - obvious

any comments?
have I got it right?

Don't understand the ROG OC Pin but it is only required for 4 core Kabby Lake CPU!

The VRM fan bracket is interesting. Will take 1 X120 or 2 x50mm fans blowing directly down on VRM's.

FS means full speed, those headers run full speed, pump headers generally run full speed by default with max voltage and PWM, but it differs per brands, however i do think that + means 3A. The ROG OC Pin is for Ln2 overclocking and the manual says it helps with the cold bug, it's not required.

W_PUMP+ - is usually rated 3A for custom loops while the AIO one is 2A.

I had an ASUS official telling me at the start of the month that the preliminary release date is 2nd week of August.

I have a feeling it's going to be next week. The support page has the drivers up for a few days now which usually happens once availability is imminent. The Extreme will probably be after that since the support page for the Extreme is not up yet.
