So who is planning on picking up a 7920x tomorrow?

very tempted after seeing scores and was also my first choice, but im gonna stay put and wait for 7940 and extreme.

So is the 12 core the highest LCC? Or is the 10. then 12 is a cut HCC?

Yes, the 12 core 7920X is the highest LCC processor. The 14, 16, and 18 are HCC.
