Hi,
Yeah bubbles are a pain but either top right or bottom left which ever pipes best for you.

One good thing about dual d5 pumps bubbles move nowhere to hide

Hello =)

I finally have the Direct die cooled 7980XE running "properly" well at least the cores are not shooting to TJMax

That said I have a very unstable BCLK. Can anyone give me any advice on how to fix the issue?
I do mean very I saw my chip going over 4.8GHz instead of 4.5 which is really bad :/ I don't understand how it can spike over 106 that's nuts...

Spoiler!

Can I improve things using those other settings? Disabling the spread spectrum didn't do much if anything :/

Spoiler!

Thank you very much for the help!!

For those who have owned both the original RVIE and now the RVIE Omega, how would you compare the two in terms of overclocking potential? From my experience with the original RVIE since 2017, the memory overclocking on this board is a nightmare.

I run my kit at 4200MHz CL17 and with the BCLK overshooting it went over 4350MHz. So far no BSOD but I am focusing on the CPU for now. I'll stress the memory and see how far I can get it later.
The DDR voltage is measured at 1.52V the VCCIO/VCCSA are at around 1.2V. on the Rampage VI Extreme the same settings were not stable and could only be achieved on some bioses.

Hi,
On such a high set of memory and on xmp profile no telling if it's the way xmp is designed for it to work

Have you tried manually dialing in timings..... and see what happens ?

I dont believe there will be many takers for that one. Those Im famiiar with were either just baptized into X299 or upgraded from more towards the economy end.

Ive been running the original for over a year with great results, recently upgraded the CPU but skipped over the Omega. I cant speak for the original VRM cooler as I never used it, VRM temp has never passed 32C. Personally I dont think an Omega can do any better. Maybe if you compare stock VRM coolers. Cant compare the omega with a water block. Here my crappy Realbench run
