ThunderboltEX 3 in ASUS Z390 Prime A ... Impossible connect...

Hi all. I have an Asus z390 Prime A motherboard

https://www.asus.com/es/Motherboards/PRIME-Z390-A/

I purchased the ThunderboltEX 3 card and followed the ASUS instructions, a pdf to connect the cable to the TB_HEADER on the motherboard. But there is no way for the software to detect my Thunderbolt sound card or my USB hard drive through port 3.1. What I have noticed is that the hard drive gets power because it listens although the LED does not turn on and Windows does not recognize it. I do not know what I can do, I updated the BIOS and modified some parameters but Windows does not recognize any device. 😞. Thanks greetings.

Assuming you installed the driver, the card is likely dead:

I have already returned it. According to ASUS, although in different compatibility lists it appears compatible with the motherboard, the card is not compatible ... They say that the compatible card is ThunderboltEX II, and it is almost impossible to find it.
