Need help to pick z390 motherboard

I have already bought a i7 8700k and a RTX 2070 and need help with finding the right motherboard. I really want and Asus board as I am new to pc building (this is my first build) and would like the easy bios. I live in Norway so we dont have some things like Asrock. I have been looking at the Asus z390-e, Asus Maximus XI Hero, Asus Maximus XI Code and also some previois generation boards like the Asus Maximus X Formula and Asus Maximus X Code. Are any of these a good option? I will be doing overclocking with an AIO watercooler on my cpu and it will be used for gaming. Any answers would be apreciated.

Excellent choice on the CPU.

The ASUS boards might be ok, but their VRM needs to be better. When it comes to a great VRM (for overclocking), the Gigabyte Z390 AORUS Elite, Pro, and Ultra are much better options. They all have the same VRM, and it's just about the best VRM you can get right now in that price range.

For your plans, I recommend the Z390 Aorus Pro. That's actually the board I'm going to be getting for the 8700K when I buy it, but all I'm going to be doing is casual overclocking with air cooling. So, the Z390 Aorus Pro actually major overkill for me, but I don't want to settle for less. It has a very good price for what it offers.
