Not for sure what cpu for sure, but it will be a 9700k or the 9900k. Overclocking not for sure. Something in a budget range. Also what ram? Thanks as always.

Thank you guys. The plan is to go to microcenter this weekend. If I have a good build list and prices are good I will pull the trigger on a intel build.

Wait til the ryzen 3000 series drops because intel will slash their pricing by 15% in response to the ryzen release. If you really want to do things right wait for the reviews on the new ryzen chips and make an informed decision about whether to go intel or amd.

Hi,
Seems more of just in case you change your mind kind of deal
Micro center does usually have good pricing on cpu's
Boards sometimes search around they do price match if sold and shipped by amazon/ newegg/.. directly and not a third party.
Don't forget the mother board in store warranty 1 year minimum save some time rma if it goes bad....

If you dont overclock the Extreme 4 actually packs quite new features for the price. The Asrock Z390 Extreme Ive seen as low as 139$.
Also pretty good if you end up buying a higher end intel i9, pretty decent VRMs.
