EVGA Z390 Dark Setup.

I am worried about my Setup and the PCI-E Lanes I heard that you are limited to.

Will a 2080 ti and the EVGA Nu sound card be fine?

Also does Sata SSD effect PCi lanes used if I want to run 3 ssd

You have 16 total lanes, SSD’s hooked to to Sata don’t use the lanes. The Sound card likely does so that may limit you to 8

Easy way to check is to use GPUZ and see if it shows 8x or 16x

Using the Asus Hyper M.2 card on my system limits my GPU to 8 lanes only. Also since the M.2 drives need 4 lanes I can only use max of two

Will the 8 lanes ruin performance on a 2080ti

I have the 2080ti for my build and the EVGA NU

The EVGA Nu has a PCI X1 connector should I connect the card to the PCI x4 slot to save more lanes?

You lose about 3% performance at 8x compared to 16x.

That sound card only uses 1 lane so use the 1x4 slot for it. That should leave your GPU at 16x
