Unstable stock 8600K
Hi, these are the specs;
8600K (never overclocked)
Asus ROG Strix Z370-H Gaming (latest 2102 UEFI)
Team Group Dark Pro 8Pack Edition 2x 8GB 3200MHz CL14
Seasonic Focus+ Gold
Sapphire Nitro RX 460 4GB
The only thing I did when I built this machine was to activate the XMP profile and nothing else, been using it like this since day one. Yesterday I ran prime95 just to see what kind of temps I would get with this HSF and got errors in less than 10mins. While browsing the UEFI interface I noticed the Auto values for VCCIO and SA were very high, around 1.35v for IO and 1.30v for SA, so I manually adjusted them to 1.20v each and my temps were much lower when stress testing and now prime95 runs for longer without errors, but it's still not stable.
I don't even know where to start troubleshooting this instability problem, the CPU was never overclocked and I think a Raijintek Tisis should be enough to cool an 8600K.
Any feedback is appreciated, I haven't messed with overclocking since the LGA775 days.
