x299 Platform

Some of the X299 seem to have support for 256 GB DRAM over the 8 dimm_slots which would mean using 32 GB modules. Asus & AsRock boards seem to have this on their main specifications page from what I've seen but on the other hand Gigabyte and MSI boards I've checked only support 128 GB which is still pretty huge!

Is it that Asus and AsRock have chosen to support this and MSI and Gigabyte have not? -

G Skill do have some 32 GB modules so in theory should work - Anybody know anything about the technicalities - Please mention them thanks -
